Frequently asked questions

What TIRED.EVENTS is, how to buy and sell tickets, offer services, and everything in between. Tap a question to expand it.

What is TIRED.EVENTS?
It’s two things in one: an events-ticketing platform and a services marketplace for nightlife. Discover events and buy tickets, list and sell tickets to your own events, or offer and book event services — all in the same place. It’s open to attendees, hosts, and service providers. More about us →
How do I buy tickets / get into an event?
Browse events (or what’s nearby), open the one you want, pick a ticket tier, and check out securely. Your ticket becomes a QR pass on your phone — just show it at the door to get scanned in. You can find your passes anytime under My tickets.
How do I host or sell tickets to an event?
Hosting happens in the Studio dashboard. Create your event, add ticket tiers, and publish — it then shows up for attendees to discover and buy. From the dashboard you manage your event, scan passes at the door, and track sales. Payouts run through Stripe, so money from ticket sales lands in your connected account.
How do platform fees work?
Browsing and buying are free for attendees — the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. On the host side, TIRED.EVENTS takes a small platform fee on ticket sales to run the service; the exact fee depends on the host’s plan and is always shown in the dashboard before you publish. No surprise charges.
Can I offer services?
Yes. If you’re a photographer, DJ, promoter, or any kind of event pro, you can list bookable services in the marketplace so hosts and attendees can find and book you. Bookings are handled with the same secure, Stripe-backed payments as everything else on the platform.
What's a promoter account?
Promoters help fill events. A host can invite someone to promote a specific event; the promoter can then share it and mint attendee invites, while a stats view tracks the reach they drive. It’s a way to reward the people who bring the crowd, without handing over full event-management access.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are issued by the host for their own events, in line with that event’s policy. If you need a refund, reach out to the host or our support and we’ll help sort it out. When a refund is approved it goes back to your original payment method through Stripe.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments — tickets and service bookings — are processed by Stripe, an industry-standard payments provider. We never see or store your full card details, and payouts to hosts and providers run through Stripe’s secure infrastructure.
How do I get help?
Start with this page — most questions are covered here. Still stuck? Reach out to our support team and we’ll get you sorted. For event-specific questions (a particular ticket, refund, or door issue), contacting the event’s host directly is usually fastest.
